hello.
so i'd thought i'd post because for some reason i felt compelled to.
i don't know about most girls but i always think about life when my periods coming. its usually how i know its coming other than the usual crying over slighty sad events that occur or cramps or anger.
anyways today was interesting woke up at 8am which i've been doing a lot lately since i share a room with my mother. which i actually like by the way because sometimes right before we go to sleep we say short sentences to each other that i'll always keep with me. simple things, like about our days or micheal jackson or my dad. anyways, i found myself waking up to a empty but crowded house. empty in the sense that no one was home, sister and mother at work and grandpa with my tia(aunt). crowded in a sense that my house is never empty, its filled with so much love in it. thats why i love my house. i believe if i lived in a shack with my mother, sisters, pups and even the old fart i'd feel the exact same way.
i'm so lucky to have so much love in my family. we all take care of each other and theres a respect between all of us that is endless. it feels great to come to 54th and west after a long day, sit in my bed a couple of feet away from my mother and blog about my life.

sorry to be talking here and there but its the only way i can blog right now.

so im my empty house i decide to cook myself a nice breakfast, a couple of eggs and toast with butter. i sat alone at the dinning table and enojyed the lovely meal i had in front of me. it was just what i needed, peaceful, emotionless, and serenity. put the dishes in the sink neatly. went outside to say goodmorning to the dogs.
pets ,where to begin, creatures that carry unlimited love and compassion (other than children).
made sure they had food and water and told then to take care of the house and went back in.
made myself a nice lunch for work.
took a nice shower, cleaned my(and mamas) room and waited for dad on the couch, while on facebook of course.
my parents divorced when i was 6 years old. he's doesnt know how to be financially stable.
picked me up eleven and sadly had a depressing time on my end. found ourselves at gilberts for some reeeeeeeeeeeeeal mexican food and enjoyed it. unfortunately there was nothing to say. mind you i had to work at one so this left us with about an hour and a half of actual time together.
i had nothing to say to daddy.
and daddy had nothing to say to me.
the sad reality of my relationship with my father.
although he doesnt fail to mention he's got only 30 bucks in his back pocket, i push topics on him about his girlfriend and her daughter because i know how much he loves to talk about that nonsense, not because i wanna hear about any of it...but because i just wanna exchange words with him, speak to him, hear him talk, watch him react, and make him happy.

i always worry about my father. i never use to because i was young and naive. cristina was always more wise and took all the battles on her own. not me i protected daddy when she and mama called him names screamed and yell to defend my dad.

now i'm older and understand the man the gave me life. his soul is so old and lost and he tries so hard to make everyone and even himself think that he's happy. i know your not dad.

and for this i'm grateful to mama for paying for my school, taking out loans, paying for her car that i just recently crash, paying for, fuck, everything. my whole life.

only two traits i've gained from my father that i've noticed so far---
1. jealousy
2. financial instability

learn. i will learn to overcome both, or at least one.

daddy dropped me off at work and off i went to comand my station at mar vista swimming pool fourth summer season veteran of girls locker attendant at your service! hey 11.50 to sit, you'd be proud too. anyways, i brought books back into my life. as of now. spent the first couple hours reading. a new mystery novel i checked out of the library. very interesting, i'll forget it a couple weeks after i read it though, it always happens after reading books.

then richard came to visit. he always brings a smile to my face that boy. kind hearted and sweet, not one mean bone in his body. we chatted and i shared my strawburries with him that i brought from home in my dodgers lunch pal and made small talk. told him to skidaddle and off he went on his skateboard while i returned to my novel. finished orders from the boss man and just like that 4 and a half hours flew by.

a guy amigo picked me up form work and i was off to marina del rey to kill some time with him before our movie started at 740. he's a nice fellow. whose intentions i'm not too sure about. friends off and on. whatever it doesnt matter. i enjoy the time i spend with him not in any romantic way but just in a social way. i'm addicted to hanging out with richard 24/7 that to have a new person in my social life (a boy at that) is overwhelmingly relieving. its like a break from my normality.

anyways, killed time and got the the movie.

watched angels and demons. havent seen it? youre out of your mind. made me rethink my whole philosophy on religion.

i am not religious but i have faith that something is out there bigger than myself and the world.

movie ended and mama picked me up and now i'm hear blogging for no reason at all. turn to my left at theres mama deep asleep after working from 6am to 6pm. working overtime, saving up to pay for my security deposit and first months rent on my apartment in sf. but not really sleeping because mama only fully sleeps when both her daughters are home and tucked peacefully in their beds. so its obvious cristina is still enjoying her night with her boyfriend.

she so beautiful and comfortable grabbing onto her pillow like she was twelve again, but if i take a closer look i see the wrinkles and the tiredness from a full day of work and the couple grey hairs starting to pop out of her head and realize mamas aging...

mamas getting older. its inevitable. yet i wish i could take ages from her and start all over...

but now its sleep time for juanie.

i feel like i really need to express myself at the very moment.

this whole week i feel i have learned so much about the person i am and the people i love. first off i FUCKING LOVE los angeles. if people think they live in the best city in the world and its not los angeles they are completely crazy. i honestly think they have some sort of problem. i love coming home, its so refreshing. i love living in crenshaw i dont give a fuck if its dirty or unsafe i love it. i love where i'm from because its has definetly shaped the person i have become. but i dont only come from crenshaw my home is also on the westside. santa monica the marina, i have the best of both worlds. if i got the chance to live in beverly hills in a gajabillion dollar mansion i would turn it down in a SECOND because where i'm from there is no other place like it.

em asked me if i was going to work in san francisco after college? HELL MOTHER FUCKING NO.

i will always be an LA girl until the day i die.

secondly my family. if i could give a discription of my family it would be MOMMA. i wish the world could understand how crazy and amazing this woman is. shes completely over baring over protective and insansely traditional. i'm 19 years old and i have a friday night cerfew of 12pm. yep, its true. and last night being out with my venice friends i could have stayed out till 3am and loved every min of it, but no at 10:30 i was so upset with my mom, "ITS NOT FAIR I'M NOT A CHILD" i would complain to richard.

but you know what?! I AM A CHILD. I AM ONLY NINE TEEN I KNOW NOTHING ABOUT LIFE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!


i complain and complain, but my mom is right. and she has always been RIGHT. she keeps me wrapped up in this cacoon not because she wants to hurt me but because she loves me so much. BECAUSE OF MY MOTHER I AM THE PERSON I AM TODAY. ALLL BYYY HERSELFFF, she has put me, my sister, and my older sister THROUGH COLLEGE. great universities, by working monday-friday 4AM-6PM. i love my mother and i complain and bitch everytime but it's all worth it, everything she throws at me. she's my everything. thank you mom. i love you.


thirdly my friends. first off my bestfriend...you all know who he is. felipe :) he's the bestfriend a girl could ever ask for i have pushed him aside in the past for the STUDPIEST reasons and i felt like this week i have really put him in front of everyone. i had so much fun with him and our friendship gets stronger every single min of every single day. we're like two peas in a pod.

as for my boys---life changes.

they aren't the same, we are not the same. i hung out with them wednesday night and i honestly would have rather stayed at home in my jamies watching the news. they were an hour late, we went to the promanade and did SHIT, stood in a circle said a good....7 words to each other. and called it a night. i understand everyone is living thier own life doing their own thing dating whoever, but why do we have to change out friendship? brotherhood? i honestly don't know about that anymore.

do NOT ever think my feelings for anyone one of them has changed. I LOVE each and every one of those BOYS, and i consider them all MY BROTHERS. but i realize that life does change, people do change, friendships don't remain strong forever. i need to understand that. its just so sad that we can't even have converstations with each other anymore. it really is sad.

as for my venice loves---nothing changes.

yesterday was probably the BEST day of my spring break so far. i guess because i had such a lame night with the guys that it made it 100 times better. but seriously emerald and aaron i am so lucky to have met you two. i am so thankful to have you guys in my life. I HAD SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO MUCH FUN WITH YOU GUYS. laughing with you eating with you playing with you--everything!!!!! i know we might not talk often but when we hang out its so comfortable and so relaxing. we can talk about ANYTHING and its okay. i love you guys so much and yes, i HATE that you guys lasted longer than me and richard but i'm SOOOOOOOO HAPPYYYY at the same time because the love i see in your relationship, is irreplaceable. thank you so much for being my friends and for putting up with my non stop talking, nosey questions, my lack of freedom from my mother, my inability to play video games, my disapearance to san francisco, my silly stupid friends that hate/like you just everything. thank you.

and em please take care of richard. the relationship you guys have is one i wish i had with him. i do and i don't because its great that he's so HIMSELF with you but we have a different relationship--a non friendship based one i guess you could say. but he loves you through all his stupid shady ass jokes, if he could pick a bestfriend it'd be you. yes that makes me jealous but i couldn't ask for a better person. so thank you for taking care of him while i am away. i love you emy.

ahhhhhhhhhhhh...the definition of the perfect boyfriend.

i LOVE this boy in every sense of the word. but i feel like i've hurt him so damn much in the past that i'm not ready to be his girlfriend right now. i need to work on myself and better myself so i can be a great girlfriend to him. i want to be just as good to him as he is to me, and if i get back with him i'm SOOOOOOO scared to hurt him again. i never want to hurt him. i wish people understood how much he loves me its just unbelievable. what's so special about me? i just hope i'm helping him be a better person--because i know he can be great. we'll get back together em&aaron, just not now. i wouldn't want anyone else but him.
